Diamond Head (Leahi) - by Mrskatiegrimm Sunday, September 12, 2010
this was my second time on this hike this time around I brought my almost 6 year old son. we both hiked with no problems. I am always surprised how many people show up in their slipper/flip flops, as the trail is very uneven and rocky. even though this hike is under 2 miles, I would say tennis shoes are a must. In my opinion, not a very pretty hike, which is why I rated this hike a 7. still, well worth the time to see the summit view. Including our shaved ice reward at the end, it took us a total of 1 1/2 hours.
Miles Hiked:2
Trail Condition:Good
Weather:Sunny
Crowds:Busy
Rating:7
